Accessibility Statement

Love Brands is committed to making lovepaks.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard alone, or need larger text, stronger contrast, or fewer distractions.

What we aim for

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We do not claim full conformance. Parts of this site meet that standard today and parts do not; where we know of a gap, it is listed under Known limitations, and we are working through them.

What we have done

  • Automated testing. We test the site with the axe accessibility engine against WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules, across the home page, collection pages and cart. Automated tools catch roughly a third of accessibility problems, so we treat a clean automated result as a starting point, not a finish line.
  • Keyboard and browser testing. Core flows are checked using the keyboard alone, in Chrome, Safari and Firefox.
  • An accessibility toolbar. Every page carries a toolbar that lets you adjust the site to your own needs, without installing anything. It is described in full below.
  • Correcting our own content. Where testing flags missing image descriptions, insufficient colour contrast, or regions that cannot be reached by keyboard, we fix the underlying page rather than paper over it.

The accessibility toolbar

Open it with the accessibility button in the lower-right corner of any page. Your choices are stored in your own browser and stay applied as you move around the site. Every setting can be undone on its own, or all at once with Reset all.

What the toolbar can adjust
Group Controls
Reading and typography Text size, content zoom, line height, letter spacing, word spacing, a more readable typeface, text alignment (left, centre, right), emphasis on headings and on links, a text magnifier, and a decluttered reading mode.
Colour and contrast Dark, light and high-contrast modes; monochrome, low-saturation, high-saturation and inverted colour filters; and separate colour pickers for body text, headings, links and background.
Navigation and focus A reading guide, a reading mask, a reading-progress bar, a stronger focus indicator, hover highlighting, a page-structure outline, a jump menu to the page's landmarks and headings, single-key shortcuts, tooltips that reveal descriptive text, and enlarged black or white cursors.
Media and motion Mute all sound, hide images, stop animations and autoplaying media.
Ready-made profiles Grouped settings for low vision, dyslexia, ADHD, cognitive support, seizure safety and older adults.

What the toolbar does not do

We want to be plain about this, because this kind of product is often oversold:

  • It does not rewrite this site's underlying HTML, and it does not add or repair ARIA roles, labels or landmarks.
  • It does not generate alternative text for images, and it does not read text out of images.
  • It does not make the site conformant with WCAG, and it is not a substitute for building the site accessibly.
  • It does not replace your own assistive technology. If you use a screen reader such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver or TalkBack, keep using it — this site is meant to work with it, and the toolbar is not involved in that.

The toolbar is a convenience for visitors who benefit from adjusting a page. The accessibility of the site itself rests on the site's own markup, which is our responsibility.

Known limitations

  • Some marketing and illustrative images do not yet carry meaningful alternative text.
  • A small number of buttons, links and navigation items do not meet the 4.5:1 contrast minimum for normal-size text.
  • At least one horizontally scrolling region on the home page cannot currently be operated by keyboard alone.
  • Several blog banner images have their headline baked into the picture rather than set as real text.
  • Some content is delivered by third parties — our email signup pop-up, subscription and bundle tools, and the checkout, which is hosted and controlled by Shopify. We do not control that markup directly, and we raise issues with those providers when we find them.

We have not yet completed a full manual audit with screen readers. Until we do, this statement reflects automated testing plus keyboard and browser checks only.

Tell us when we get it wrong

If you hit a barrier on this site, please tell us — it is the fastest way for us to fix it, and we would rather hear about it than not.

Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using, if any. We aim to reply within five business days. If we cannot fix something quickly, we will tell you what we are doing about it and offer another way to complete your purchase.
